I was trained and worked as T&O Cons.
at "K.A.T. General Hospital of Athens"- Ortho & Trauma Center for almost 7years.

In the intermediate i worked at HEARTLANDS & SOLIHULL Hospitals, Birmingham, NHS, U.K.

with special interest in: Lower Limbs & Sport Injuries

I am an Orthopaedic and Trauma (T&O) Consultant

who treats all orthopaedic conditions for adults & children (pediatric orthopaedics)

like:

Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Tendonitis, Low back pain, cervical syndrome.

My subspecality is Lower limbs & Sports injuries.

For the Knee injuries, where possible this treatment will be done arthroscopically

(key-hole surgery), which will reduce your pain and speed your recovery.

At my Rooms i also perform PELMATOGRAPHY and apply customized shoe inserts

(orthopaedic inserts/orthotic pads) are constructed and applied to each patient.

The pelmatography device is a diagnostic tool, operating without radiation. It is a system of evaluation, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of diseases of the feet and Musculoskeletal and kinetic gait analysis.

My Modern pelmatography device, records and analyzes gait in two-dimensional and three-dimensional graphs and makes recognizable anatomical variations and disease of the lower extremities.

The device offers the possibility of creating special orthopedic pad or correction according to the findings of pelmatography so, automatically be given the diagnosis and the appropriate solution of orthotics. In this way the examination solves, the problem with the right individualized pad.

With the information of pelmatography, in collaboration with specialists that i cooperate, orthopedic insoles are made, especially for people who have some systemic disease with manifestations in the lower extremities, such as diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis, people involved with sports activities or in their daily walk feel their feet heavy and tired.

In addition, diseases of the children feet can be identified with pelmatography and addressed to the appropriate case for sole. Also for children or adults with flatfeet, scoliosis, neuroma morton, overpronation, valgus heel etc. Addressed various biomechanical dysfunctions and diseases like metatarsalgia, heel spurs, tendonitis legs etc. and correction of incorrect posture and gait.
